Ashton Playing Fields

The athletic facilities include an eight lane track, competition specification hammer cages, two long jump/triple jump pits and javelin and shot put areas. There are also high jump and pole vault facilities.

We offer pay as you go access or an annual membership offering unlimited access to the track.

For those that want to train harder or compete, Ashton Playing Fields is home to Woodford Green & Essex Ladies Athletic Club. There is a floodlit astro pitch suitable for football, hockey and multi use. This can be hired as a whole or half pitch, by the hour or as a long term booking.

There are also 3 grass football pitches available for matches. To hire any of the facilities at Ashton Playing Fields please contact us. In addition there is a small gym for those that enjoy a quiet work out away from the noise of one of our larger sites. You can pay as you go or buy a monthly pass from reception. The Function Hall at Ashton Playing Fields is capable of holding 120 people and available until 11.30pm on Fridays and Saturday.

The function hall is perfect for any event, including, birthdays, christenings, weddings and anniversaries. The Meeting Room is available all day every day, and is great for coffee mornings, tutorials or meetings. Holding up to 15 people a fantastic atmosphere can be generated.
