At Impulse Leisure Blackshots, we strive to create an active & healthy community within the local Grays area, and as non-profit distributing organisation we reinvest 100% of our surplus back into our community.

To be able to fulfill our aim of improving the physical and mental wellbeing of our local community, Blackshots is host to a wide variety of health, fitness and leisure facilities.

Our facilities include:

• A fully equipped gym complete with revolutionary cardiovascular and weight resistance equipment, plus free weights and functional areas.
• Swimming Pools including a 30m main pool, smaller teaching pool and splash pool for under 5 year olds
• Swimming Pool viewing area for those who want to sit back, relax and enjoy watching their loved ones learn to swim or have fun
• Group Exercise and Indoor Cycling Studios
• Kenisis Studio
• Café
• Health Suite with Sauna and Steam
• Sunbeds

Our charity is one of the few that prevent, maintain and cure illness, injury and mental health conditions through our Health & GP referral schemes. Our schemes include: Cancer, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), Non-insulin Dependent Diabetes, Emotional Wellbeing, Hypertension, Low Level Back Pain, Parkinsons, Stroke, and Cardiac/Cardiac Rehab.

Through partnerships with local groups and clubs we are able to widen our offering to our community.

We create a fun, active & healthy communities from a young age, with a range of facilities that are suitable for juniors, including: supervised Junior Gym sessions for ages 11-15. We also have an extensive swimming lesson programme starting from parent & baby, building water confidence and skills.
