Impulse Leisure Trust

Impulse Leisure is a non-profit distributing organisation (NPDO) a charitable company providing leisure and recreation facilities whilst striving to create an active & healthy community within Essex.

• Impulse Leisure manages a variety of health, fitness and leisure facilities including Swimming Pools, Fitness Suites, Group Exercise Studios, Kinesis Studio, Health & Beauty, Sauna, Steam Rooms and Sunbeds. 18 Hole Golf Course & Country Club at Belhus Park with Driving Range and Golf Shop, Bar, Function Room and Café. Our Civic Hall entertainment venue hosts music concerts, shows & events and is available for private hire including weddings. We also have function/ conference rooms together with a full bars & catering service available at a number of our sites.
•  Our charity is one of the few that prevent, maintain and cure illness, injury and mental health conditions through our Health & GP referral schemes. Our schemes include: Cancer, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), Non-insulin Dependent Diabetes, Emotional Wellbeing, Hypertension, Low Level Back Pain, Parkinsons, Stroke, and Cardiac/Cardiac Rehab.
• Through partnerships with local groups and clubs we are able to widen our offering to our community.
• We create a fun, active & healthy communities from a young age, with a range of facilities that are suitable for juniors, including: supervised Junior Gym sessions for ages 11-15. We also have an extensive swimming lesson programme starting from parent & baby, building water confidence and skills.

As a non-profit distributing organisation, we reinvest 100% of our surplus back into our community and community projects.
