Since launching their live streaming and on demand service in December, Tees Active has registered over 1000 users and is set to continue expanding their online offer over the coming months. The platform has recently enabled the return of the trusts much needed GP referral scheme, to support weight loss and lifestyle changes to local residents throughout the remainder of the COVID pandemic.
Tees Active’s online streaming service, powered by Technogym Mywellness Live and On-Demand, has also been used to strengthen the partnership with the local authority, by providing free access to employees in an effort to encourage individuals to be more active and support the health and wellbeing of homeworkers. Over 200 council employees registered for the service in the first two weeks, demonstrating a huge appetite for keeping active during lockdown. An exclusive weekly online session for council employees has also been introduced that focusses on mobility and stretching for those spending long hours behind a computer.
Tees Active has been commended by Technogym for the recording quality in the technical set up of their live streaming and on demand service as well as the marketing.
“The live streaming set up achieved by Tees Active offers superior audio and visual resulting in the creation of high quality content. It is a fantastic example of best practice execution in terms of content as well as promotion to customers.” Comments Craig Swyer, Marketing Manager, Technogym
Tees Active’s Managing Director, Leon Jones, added “The ability to offer an online fitness solution whilst our facilities have been closed has been critical in enabling us to continue supporting the health and wellbeing of the local community. We’ve all had to adapt in many ways over the last 12 months and are pleased that not only the quality we have achieved has been recognised, but that the feedback has been fantastic and has genuinely impacted the health and wellbeing of our communities through what has been an extremely difficult time.”
