About the Trust
HALF Fish HQ is a community asset transfer swimming pool, a CIC that saved the pool from closure for the community.
Award winning for its swimming lesson delivery and teacher training HALF Fish tagline is "Where everyone swims together!" The pool was recognised in all the categories at the last Swim England Teaching Awards, a fabulous 8 categories.
The pool has a 25m pool and a teaching pool and offers lessons to all ages and abilities.
The pool currently has 5 clubs training within its waters, Lancashire Tridents Masters and Junior Swimming Club (SwimMark accredited); Tridents RLSS Lifesaving Club (working towards accreditation - founded 2019); Lancashire Tridents Triathlon Club (TriMark accredited) and East Lancashire Divers (PADI accredited).
