Aspire Sports and Cultural Trust was established in 2008 to provide sport, leisure and cultural opportunities in Gloucestershire and the surrounding areas.
Aspire Sports and Cultural Trust is a ‘Company Limited by Guarantee’, not having any share capital. A ‘not for profit’ organisation and registered charity, our aim is to provide a best value service in all areas in which we operate, by investing every penny surplus we make back into our local community.
Aspire Sports and Cultural Trust is governed by a Board of up to eleven Trustees/directors, who give strategic guidance and support to the Trust’s Management Team, which is led by the Chief Executive. All of the Trustees are volunteers and receive no payment for their role.
Like all companies, Aspire Sports and Cultural Trust is governed through its Memorandum and Articles of Association which details the Charity’s purpose as well as mission and aims.
We passionately believe in the positive impact sport, physical activity and culture can have on individuals’ and communities’ physical and mental health and well-being and we want to inspire people to be more active.
